The Buyi are an ancient farming ethnic group mainly living in mountainous Guizhou. They record their history through folk songs and have lived on rice cultivation for thousands of years.
Buyi culture features water villages, bronze drums and indigo batik. Their traditional indigo clothes are decorated with delicate embroidery, simple and elegant, reflecting their long river-valley farming life.

布依族是中国历史悠久的农耕民族，主要生活在贵州山区。数千年来，他们依靠水稻种植为生，并通过山歌世代记录和传承民族历史。

布依族文化以水乡文化、铜鼓和靛蓝蜡染闻名。传统靛蓝服饰饰有精美刺绣，风格朴素典雅，充分体现了河谷地区悠久的农耕生活。
