June turns out to be uneventful. WCCCC has begun to experience an increase in demand for facility rental, primarily for sports, and demand for gymnasium rental. I continue to be committed to a smooth and gradual transition with an open mind, new ideas, and “step outside the box”. Although some of the changes may have happened at a faster pace, I can only ask our members and Directors of the Board to continue their support for our efforts in achieving a successful beginning of a new chapter for the Centre.

During our June Board meeting, many ideas on programming for seniors, intergenerational with our Youth Group, and community activities, many ideas were shared, including setting regular committee meetings. The committee has begun to reach out to various organizations and interest groups and will welcome input and support from the communities, not limited to WCCCC only.
