壮族Zhuang
The Zhuang are China’s largest ethnic minority group, living mainly in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. With a history stretching back thousands of years, they have built a rich agricultural culture centered on rice farming, while preserving their traditions, stories, and heritage through folk songs and legends passed down through generations.
Zhuang culture is renowned for its magnificent bronze drums, exquisite indigo batik, and vibrant folk traditions. Their traditional garments, often dyed in deep blue and adorned with delicate embroidery and silver ornaments, reflect both their exceptional craftsmanship and their close connection to the warm subtropical mountains where they have cultivated the land for generations.
