Catherine Dong and Michael Guan are our MCs. They were Youth Ambassadors for 2018 Folklorama Chinese Pavilion.

主持人是我们2018年民风节中国馆的两位青年大使: 董可欣及Michael Guan。

The first show was the traditional Chinese lion dance performance and interacted with the audience. In addition to two energetic big lions, there is also a cute little lion!

开场的是喜庆的舞狮表演并且与观众进行互动！今年，除了有两只活力四射的大狮子外，还有一只可爱的小狮子哦！

FCDAW 友谊舞蹈协会 – Chinese folk dance – fan dance 恭喜发财

The art and tradition of the Chinese fan dance have captivated audiences for two thousand years. Just one of many forms of traditional folk dances, fan dances has been preserved to share the stories and beauty of Chinese culture.

Of course, the first program will send the blessings! The fan dance brought by the FCDAW, and wishing everyone earn more money in the new year!

中国扇子舞的艺术和传统已经吸引了两千多年的观众。只是众传统民间舞蹈中的一种，粉丝舞被保留下来，分享中国文化的故事和美。

第一个节目当然要给大家送祝福啦！由友谊舞蹈协会带来的扇子舞恭喜发财，祝福大家新的一年里财源滚滚！

Huaxia Dance Studio – Latin Dance 拉丁

When we are in Canada, we will have more opportunities to enjoy all kinds of dances, especially many new immigrant friends who are stunted. They may be computer experts, but they are professional dancers on the scene, and they also teach dance hobbies. The Huaxia Dance Studio brings a passionate Latin dance to everyone.

当我们置身加拿大，会有更多机会欣赏到各种舞蹈，尤其是很多新移民朋友身怀绝技，平时可能是计算机高手，上了场就是专业舞蹈家，而且还教会了身边跟多的舞蹈爱好者，华夏舞蹈协会给大家带来热情洋溢的拉丁舞.

Shaolei – Taiji& Wushu

T’ai chi ch’uan or tàijíquán, often shortened to t’ai chi, taiji or tai chi in English usage, is a Traditional internal Chinese martial art practised for both its defense training and its health benefits. Shao Lei used to be a martial arts champion in China. During his ten years in Winnipeg, he received a large number of apprentices. The mentoring and martial arts used Tai Chi and martial arts to exercise and spread Chinese culture.

太极拳，是一种传统的中国内部武术，用于防御训练和健康益处。邵雷师傅在中国曾经是武术冠军，在来到温尼伯居住的十几年中，收了众多的徒弟，师徒们一起用太极和武术来健身，传播中国文化。

You might have known that we have many ethnic groups in Chinese nation. In this show, the dancers showcased the beautiful festival costume of Xinjiang Dance.

中国有56个民族的兄弟姐妹，由曼尼托巴女性协会带来的舞蹈《花儿这样红》带大家感受了新疆舞蹈的风采。

Yixiao Li – 古筝独奏 Guzheng Solo 不染

Chinese zither / Zheng is Han Zheng instrument name is Han Chinese traditional instruments, which belongs to the plucked string instruments. Among the Chinese national musical instruments, Guzheng has always had its unique charm. It has not been thought that such a large instrument will travel across the sea to Canada. Now it is not only coming, but also many excellent guzheng players, bringing them Years of guzheng art came to Winnipeg, now we will appreciate the guzheng solo “Buran” by Alysia Li.

Golden Girls Dance Group – 双扇舞：山里人乐的好潇洒 Fan Dance

China has a long history. All ethnic groups have different styles of dance. For example, the double-fan dance brought by the Golden Girls Dance Group brings us the simple happiness and life of the Chinese people.

中国地大物博，历史悠久，各种民族都有不同风格的舞蹈，比如接下来由金色年华舞蹈团带来的双扇舞《山里人乐的好潇洒》，给我们带来中国人民淳朴的快乐与生活方式。

Manitoba Great Wall – 二胡独奏：好一朵美丽的茉莉花 Erhu Solo

In Chinese musical instruments, the erhu has only two strings, but it can pull out the various

music. Erhu began in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than a thousand years. The erhu solo “A Beautiful Jasmine” by Manitoba Great Wall Art Troupe. Teacher Meng shows the beauty of jasmine through the erhu!

Happy Sister – 柔力球：难忘今霄 Soft ball dance

The softball game has already started to play in large and medium-sized cities. The main audience is the elderly in the community, which is very popular among the elderly. The last show is Soft ball dance. The performance of Grandma Zhang is 85 years old, and the sport is really young and full of energy!
